The Journey contains a fine balance of truth and fact, wisdom and knowledge. Elyn Aviva provides excellent information about spiritual practices of many origins, the unfolding of consciousness, and pilgrimage.  The reader, like Gwen, the protagonist, is invited to look beneath the surface of events to discover deeper meaning, complexity, and paradox. Aviva's book is a welcome addition to spiritual journey literature.
